Sheila's articles have been published in newspaper, print and on-line magazines.
In 1998, Sheila began working for Neighbors newspaper. From 2000 to 2001, she wrote a bi-weekly column entitled, Spiritually Speaking, for the local newspaper with an estimated readership of 50,000. At the request of her readers, she self-published the inspirational articles into a collection.
Her articles have appeared in VERB, Wholife, Saskworld, The Canadian Arabian Horse magazine and The Society, to name a few. Sheila has written a memoir (reviewed by KIRKUS), blogs and is venturing into writing film and tv scripts.
Early in her career, Sheila was interviewed by various forms of media, including a two hour radio interview in Seattle with KKNW. In 2008, the Saskatchewan Writer’s Guild profiled her in the September issue of freeLance.
No matter the genre, Sheila strives to create awareness with a focus on creating understanding from various points of view.
